The UN Headquarters witnessed the signing ceremony for the Principles for Responsible Banking (PRBs) on September 22. The PRBs call on financial institutions to adopt finance and lending practices that are in line with the SDGs and the Paris Agreement. They were signed by 140 financial institutions, including Japan’s 3 Megabanks – MUFG, SMFG, and Mizuho – as well as Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings.
